At INNBETWEEN we'd always recommend our guests to explore the vast landscapes that makes the land of beautiful New Zealand. There's plenty of sightseeing, hiking, walking, kayaking and more for the adventurous! We are close to 3 different National Parks that are approx. 2 hours of a car ride away.

Abel Tasman National Park

Abel Tasman Park features thriving green forests, golden sandy beaches, rocky granite structures and untouched rivers inlets. There are walking tracks as small as 45 minutes to a 3-5 day walk. Activities include camping, mountain biking and sea kayaking.

Kahurangi National Park

The second largest National Park in New Zealand, the terrain consist of caves, limestone/marble rock arches, sinkholes and water-worn outcrops. Walks are intensive, and if you plan to stay overnight, ensure that you are properly equipped and travel with a capable leader.

Nelson Lakes National Park

2 hours drive from Nelson, the national park consists of large lakes, quiet and dense beach forests, rocky mountains and crystal-clear streams. Perfect to visit in Spring/Summer for walks however if you are planning backcountry trips, check the website for details on being prepared for the road ahead.
